Hey y’all, I’m Mallarie — a 20-year-old wife, mama, and the heart behind The Checkered Spur! I’m married to my husband and childhood bestie, and together we’re raising our sweet little girl while chasing big dreams.

I started this boutique with a simple goal: to bring affordable, high-quality westernish and trendy fashion to girls who love bold style, good morals, and a little bit of Jesus in everything they do.
What began as a small dream has grown into a brand built on faith, hard work, and a whole lot of late nights designing, packing orders, and praying over every season. Since opening, we’ve expanded from western-inspired looks to include trendy boutique styles that anyone can wear — not just cowgirls! Whether you’re shopping for rodeo weekends, small-town hangs, or a cute date-night fit, we’ve got something for you.

After moving back home, I knew I wanted to serve our local community by offering affordable, cute fashion with a western twist — and we’re so excited to be working on pickup locations right here in Richton and Leakesville!
